Campus Bike Center
The Campus Bike Center is an educational center that serves as a place for the local cycling community to teach bicycle owners how to repair and maintain their own bikes. Through the bike center, individuals can participate in a variety of bicycle-related programming including bicycle safety education, bike repair, and bike-related social events. EDUC 201 students can either do mechanical education or program development. In mechanical education, you will learn simple bike repairs and then teach it to youth here in the community. This would appeal to students interested in engineering, mechanics, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. In program development, students will create a bike maintenance and and repair curriculum to be used in after school programs. This would appeal to students interested in engineering, mechanics, problem-solving, and hands on learning.
